Everton in the Community

28th June 2018

On Wednesday 27th June, we were lucky that, as part of our When I Grow Up week, Everton in the Community gave us a press conference all about their different jobs within the organisation. We met Michael (the Education Manager), Amanda (the Community Business Development Manager) and Marie (the Hub receptionist) and learned all about aspects of their roles within Everton. We discovered that they were all doing jobs which they loved even if they were not the jobs they initially wanted to do and found out their ideal jobs, ranging from ice cream taster to singer!

They gave us some really good advice – we were advised to try our best, never give up on our dreams and work hard for what we wanted.

We really enjoyed this opportunity and it helped us to see that Everton has a range of roles – it’s not just for footballers!
