Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

Congratulations to all our new Playground Buddies who completed their Anti-Bullying Ambassador training with The Diana Award yesterday. They are now fully trained in ensuring the whole school, and especially our playground, are safe, happy, bullying-free zones. Some of our existing Y6 Playground Buddies were also trained so that they can support our new recruits over the rest of the summer term. One of our new Playground Buddies said, “I really got to know the other buddies better and we can support each other now.” Another said, “I learned lots of activities to do to make sure bullying doesn’t happen.” An existing Buddy added, “I knew not to be a bystander to bullying but now I know to be an upstander and say NO to bullying. I can help our new buddies by modelling how to talk to children who are upset and have fallen out with their friends.”
