Blackpool Zoo!

16th May 2018

What a fantastic day!  We all had a brilliant time at Blackpool Zoo, and everything went exactly according to plan.  Your children were, as always, impeccably behaved and an absolute credit to you – it was a privilege to take them.  The coach travel was smooth and quick, and we were in Blackpool in just over an hour.  We were lucky enough to be treated to a wonderful display by a peacock almost as soon as we arrived, on our way to the dinosaur safari, which was everything we’d hoped it would be, with footprints, a dinosaur nest, a volcano and dozens and dozens of dinosaurs.  At the sealion display, we were lucky enough to get front row seats for a great display by Gina and Anya (helped by their trainer, Gary).  After lunch, we saw as many animals as we  possibly could, including lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, porcupines, anteaters, camels, otters, meerkats, lemurs, gorillas, orangutan, penguins, flamingos, pelicans and giant tortoises……!  The journey home went really quickly, with plenty of sleepy heads on the coach!
