Carrot soup!

15th November 2018

We harvested our very own carrots from the nursery garden and decided to make carrot soup with them.  We washed the carrots in the water tray, put them in size order and compared them to carrots bought from Asda, before chopping them up and making delicious carrot soup.  The children were fascinated by the green tops on our carrots.  When we chopped onions to add to the mix, our eyes watered!  We watched the story of ‘The Big Carrot’ whilst we drank our soup – lots of children asked for more!
