Junk Modelling 'Stay and Play'

29th June 2018

Thanks to an amazing turn-out, and some very focused parents, we now have enough junk models to open our very own sculpture park in Reception!  The searing heat didn’t put anyone off, and we are truly blown away by your creativity and imagination.  We have models ranging from a large-scale castle (big enough to hold three children!), some dinosaurs (species ranging from pteradactyl to diplodocus), rockets, an alien, a television, a rubber band-powered car to a boat…..  Thank you too for all your collaboration, sharing and tidying up – we have thoroughly enjoyed working with you at these events over the past year and your enthusiasm has been wonderful.  The models will remain on display in the sculpture park whilst the weather is dry, and we fully intend to invite other year groups to come down to see them.
