Liverpool Central Library

16th February 2018

To support our Geography and Science topics, Year 2 went on a wonderful visit to Liverpool Central Library. Whilst we were there, we were shown around the old and new parts of the library and discovered that the library holds over 350,000 books! Our tour guide told us lots of interesting facts about the library including that their oldest book is over 600 years old!

In the children’s library we explored the different books, fiction and non-fiction, and had time to research our Geography topic about Mexico and Science topic about everyday uses of materials.
