Meeting with Mr. Rea

13th August 2016

During autumn term, the School Council invited Mr Rea, Chair of Governors, to attend one of our meetings. We wanted to find out more about his role as Chair of Governors and what plans he has for our school.

When asked what he likes about being Chair of Governors, Mr Rea told us,

“I love presenting certificates, especially at the leavers’ service. I remember my leavers’ service from when I was younger.”

We also asked him about his plans for our school, he said,

“I want every single child to have easy access to computers in the classroom and around school.”

Mr Rea also asked us to have a think about what makes us feel safe in school and how we thought the school could be made even better. We are going to discuss these questions during our School Council meetings and feedback to him some time in the New Year.
