Palaentologist Visits Reception

24th July 2018

We were lucky enough to be visited by Dinosaur Mike, who shared with us his fantastic fossils!  We saw a T-Rex tooth, learnt about ammonites and even held the skull of an ankylosaurus!  Some children prepared questions for Mike, which he answered by email after our session with him, and he even tweeted about us and wrote on his blog!  Take a look at ‘Everything Dinosaur’ to see what Mike thought of us.  This was a fantastic end to our dinosaur topic and the children were wowed by the fantastic artefacts.
