Admissions

  • As a maintained school, our admissions policy is determined by Liverpool City Council.

    In-Year Transfers

Most of our year-groups are full; however, please do phone the school office to enquire if you are looking for an in-year place. The admissions officer will take your details and a member of the senior leadership team will contact you to arrange a walk-round if we can offer a place or we will place you on our waiting list.

    Reception Class Places 2018

From 12 September 2017, if you live in Liverpool and your child is eligible for reception class in September 2018 you can apply online for a school place at:

    liverpool.gov.uk/admissions

    Benefits:

    • No need to wait for your allocation letter to arrive through the post and no delays with the postal system
    • On 16 April 2018 you will receive your child’s allocation offer by email and will also be able to view this online using login details.

Please ensure that you apply before the closing date (15 January 2018). It’s quick, easy and secure!

Transferring from Primary to Secondary School in September 2018

If your child is at Longmoor Primary and is due to start secondary school in September 2018, you should have received a letter from us. The letter has a Unique Identifier Number (URN) for your child, along with important information on how to apply. If you need further information you can find more details at:

    http://liverpool.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/school-admissions/how-to-apply/

Or contact the school office for help and advice. Please note, if you live in another local authority e.g. Sefton, you will need to apply via their admissions process.
