Admissions

  • As a maintained school, our admissions policy is determined by Liverpool City Council.

For information on Liverpool City Council School Admissions, together with online applications, click here.

    In-Year Transfers

Most of our year-groups are now full; however, please do phone the school office to enquire if you are looking for an in-year place. The admissions officer will take your details and a member of the senior leadership team will contact you to arrange a walk-round if we can offer a place or we will place you on our waiting list.

    Reception Class Places 2019

From 12 September 2018, if you live in Liverpool and your child is eligible for reception class in September 2019 you can apply online for a school place at:

    liverpool.gov.uk/admissions

    Benefits:

    • No need to wait for your allocation letter to arrive through the post and no delays with the postal system
    • On Admissions Day you will receive your child’s allocation offer by email and will also be able to view this online using login details.

Please ensure that you apply before the closing date (15 January 2019). It’s quick, easy and secure!

If you do not live in Liverpool, you should apply through the local authority where you do live. You should find all the information you need under ‘School Admissions’ on their website.

Transferring from Primary to Secondary School in September 2019

If your child is at Longmoor Primary and is due to start secondary school in September 2019, you should have already received an information booklet from us explaining how to apply. The closing date for applications is 31st October 2018. If you need further information please see:

    http://liverpool.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/school-admissions/how-to-apply/
