Vets 4 Pets

3rd October 2018

Year One visited Vets 4 Pets to learn how to care for animals. Before we set off, we used our geography skills to plan the best route to and from the vets and had a look at all of the physical and human features in our local area.

Once we arrived, we learned about the foods that dogs should not eat such as chocolate, grapes and bread. We bandaged a dog’s paw, scanned Tony the Tiger to look for his microchip and looked at fleas and ticks close up.

Did you know we should clean dog’s teeth daily with a toothbrush and special toothpaste?
