Year 6 explore places of worship with Aintree Baptist Church

Year 6 had the pleasure of being taught an RE session by Mr Bentley from Aintree Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon. We explored what it means to worship (submitting to something, remembering, praising and giving thanks) and discussed a range of places of worship including religious settings (churches, mosques and temples) and special places (homes, football stadium, near water). We are able to worship in many ways and in many places. Communal worship (worshiping together) enables people to share common ground, to praise together and share a sense of community. We would like to thank Aintree Baptist Church for coming along.
