Year 6 visit The Museum of Liverpool

22nd November 2017

Tuesday 21st November

On Tuesday 21st November, Year 6 pupils visited The Museum of Liverpool to participate in two workshops: Gateway to the World and Liverpool-a history of the city. This trip was planned to help us with our humanities topic- ‘Why is Liverpool a cool place to live in?’ We learnt so many facts about how Liverpool grew and developed as a city and how the docks  played a major role in expanding Liverpool as a city as well as its role for making the city rich. After the museum, we had a stroll around the Albert Dock identifying key landmarks which we have already discussed in class during our topic.
