The Life Rooms, Walton

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is based in the former Walton Library and has transformed it into a centre for learning, recovery, health and wellbeing. In addition to retaining some popular library services, Mersey Care funded the restoration of the building and created a base for a range of life opportunities in a way that challenges stigma and promotes positive mental health and wellbeing. The Life Rooms is a hive of community of activity, of which anybody can access.

ABsolutely Catering

ABsolutely Catering is Longmoor’s catering provider, offering a refreshing new concept for school catering with a zest and vibrancy that gives pupils a place to eat.

Everton in the Community

Everton in the Community run the Primary Stars programme in our school. EiTC aims to use the power of sport to motivate, educate and inspire people in our local communities to improve their life chances. Through this pioneering approach, they have earned a reputation for delivering best practice in the sporting charity sector.

Resonate Music Hub

Resonate, Liverpool’s Music Hub, funded byArts Council England, operates as a gateway for Liverpool’s young musicians, meaning over 13,000 pupils in Liverpool have regular access to outstanding music opportunities which will impact on their lives and enhance our city. Children in KS1 receive music tuition from one of Resonate’s specialist tutors and then in years 3 & 4, they are taught to play a musical instrument (Y3 – clarineo; Y4 – clarinet).

Liverpool Confucius Institute

The Liverpool Confucius Institute is a collaborative project between the University of Liverpool, Xi’an Jiaotong University and the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), for the promotion of Chinese language and culture.

Based at the University of Liverpool the institute is a focal point for all China-related activity in Merseyside, working closely with schools and colleges, local businesses, community groups and individuals to promote Chinese language and culture.
