Financial Literacy Fun

6th February 2017

On Wednesday 1st February, a visitor came in from Maghull High School to teach us all about money. We learnt how to save money and how important it is. Did you know you can save money in a piggy bank, a purse, a jar or even in a bank? We were given envelopes with lots of pictures in which we sorted into two categories; need and want.  It was hard trying to decide if we could live without some things such as our TV! We discussed the many ways of spending money such as cash or cheques and we also learnt the difference between credit and debit cards. We really enjoyed the sorting activities and found all the information really useful.
