It's the most wonderful time of the year!

8th January 2019

What a busy Christmas period we had! All of our musicians in the band  and vocalists, both soloists and in the choir, performed exceptionally in a variety of performances. We started off the festivities on the 5th December, by having our own Christmas Concert for parents to come and watch, which went down a treat – especially with the tea and biscuits provided by Friends of Longmoor! On the 17th December, the choir were kindly invited to sing as part of Archbishop Beck’s Christmas performance and they shone like stars in a combined performance of ‘Gaudete’ with Archbishop Beck students. The choir didn’t have much rest for their voices as the following day, 18th December, they sang beautifully for out visiting Chinese delegates. Finally, to keep up the festive cheer, the choir visited Aintree Hospital and a local care home to spread a bit of happiness. After all, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! We look forward to what 2019 has on offer for our talented musicians!
