Longmoor pupils are 'Film Stars' at the Community Cinema

11th December 2015

The Plaza Community Cinema in Crosby hosted Longmoor’s whole-school cinema visit this week. Over 300 children watched ‘A Christmas Star’ and enjoyed a drink and a packet of Buttons provided by Friends of Longmoor. All pupils were true stars, from the youngest Reception children who sat quietly throughout the film, to the oldest in Year 6 who donned their playground ‘buddy’ jackets to keep the younger pupils company on the coaches. Classes are now busy writing diary entries for their visit and reviews of the film. Well done, everyone!

Our Nursery pupils also had a treat on the same day, with Magic4Children putting on a special magic show for them.
