Here you will find information and photographs about what we do in nursery each week.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, with a strong emphasis on teaching your children to become independent learners.  There are seven areas in the EYFS:

    • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
    • Communication and Language
    • Physical Development
    • Mathematics
    • Literacy
    • Understanding the World
    • Expressive Arts

Our nursery has recently had a makeover, with freshly painted walls and some changes to our learning environment.

Our team is led by Mrs. Gough – who is also the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Co-ordinator.  On Fridays (Mrs. Gough’s designated SEN working day) Mrs. Evans will be in nursery.

Information about our topics and newsletters can be found both in the nursery foyer and on this page, and will also be sent home each half term.

We ask that you provide spare clothes, pumps and wellies for your child, to be kept in the cloakroom –  bags are available for you to use in the nursery foyer.  Please ensure that all items of clothing and footwear are labelled with your child’s name.

You can select books at any time from the shelf in the foyer to read at home with your child.  Likewise, please help yourselves to the Family Fun Packs, which are for sharing at home.

Water and milk are always available for your child to drink in nursery, but you are welcome to send in a labelled drinks bottle from home for your child to use.

We’re really looking forward to working with you and your children over the coming year!
