Schools' Parliament: Holocaust Memorial

30th January 2017

Our Schools’ Parliament MP’s travelled to Liverpool Town Hall today to take part in a moving service dedicated to those who lost their lives (and survived) during the Holocaust. We learned that the Holocaust was an illegal genocide during World War II, carried out by the Nazi Party of Germany.

During the event, we heard from Sonia, John and Faye, who were survivors of the Holocaust, and got the chance to ask questions of them. Their story, as well as their honest answers to challenging questions about their life, was truly moving and showed us how the human race can live through and defend against what was a terrible regime.

Pictures to follow.
