Liverpool Top 20 School

15th December 2015

The Department for Education has just published the latest primary school league tables.

More good news for Longmoor:

One of the key indicators of a school’s success is the percentage of children attaining a level 4 or above in reading, writing and mathematics at the end of year 6.

A further indicator is the percentage of children attaining a 4b or above in reading, writing and mathematics – an indicator that the child is ready to tackle the secondary curriculum.

Based on our 2014/2015 results, we are in the top 20 of Liverpool primary schools for both these indicators (out of 148 schools)!

This is a phenomenal achievement, of which we are very proud, and is only possible because of the hard work that our staff and children demonstrate each and every school day.

Let’s keep up the good work! 🙂
