Week 13th-17th February 2017

14th February 2017

We are always busy in nursery and this week is no exception with our Nursery Rhyme Challenge taking place on Thursday. The children have been continuing to learn all their rhymes this week in preparation for the event and every child will take away their very own nursery rhyme book as a thank you for all their hard work. It would be most appreciated if sponsorship forms and donations could be returned by Friday or by the very latest the first week back after half term. Thank you

The children will also be having their visit from the PDSA on Wednesday when their donations of pet food and treats will be handed over. We have prepared lots of questions to ask.The interest shown by the children with regards to the PDSA and the work they do has been phenomenal so thank you to everyone for taking part.

This week we would also like to offer a warm welcome to a returning pupil of Longmoor on their high school placement who will be experiencing all the activities that nursery has to offer. We are always delighted to see former pupils returning to school and nursery are secretly delighted that they have chosen us as their year group of choice!

Finally I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all parent/carers for their support this half term. Whether it has been taking Martha or Arthur Bear home for the weekend or coming along to our stay and play sessions/performances or completing your child’s home link books for us to share their news, all your contributions allow us to strive to do the very best and offer a broad and varied curriculum.

Have a lovely and relaxing half term and we will see you all back on Monday, 20th February 2017.
