Year 2 Nativity play

19th December 2016

Year 2 were very excited to perform their Nativity play Hey Ewe last week, and we were overwhelmed with the support from parents and carers – it was lovely to see a full audience! The children were fantastic and have worked so hard to remember their lines and where to stand – and some children even helped to prompt others! We had amazing narrators who spoke with such confidence, dazzling dancing angels, terrific townspeople, royal Kings and an emperor, a tired Mary and Joseph who walked their socks off, a rhythmic band and – last but not least – a wonderful group of sheep and shepherds. And a special mention must go to our curious sheep for his amazing acting!

“It was fantastic and fun, when the sheep ran everywhere it was the funny bit!” Jamie Gordon. “It helped me to be a better speaker” Alfie Jukes. “It helped me to read my words” Callum Boyd.

Thank you once again to all parents and carers for your continuing support and the Year 2 team would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
